Welcome!
Joop and Marja van den Berge welcome you in Le Saut de la
Bergère. After you has been our guest you will specially remember the friendly
and warm welcome, the overwhelming presence of nature, the personal attention
and the lovely meals.
You’ll find Le Saut de la Bergère in the hills surrounding Aubazine, next to the
Canal des Moines, a historical monument of the 12th century. And also
of more recent date the beautiful 18 and 9 holes golf course Golf du Coiroux at
only 3 km.
And of course there is the legend of the little ‘bergère’ which has given our
house his name...
In our home, a former hotel recently totally renovated, there are 4 rooms with
all the modern comfort. When the weather it allows you can relax at one of the
three terraces or in the garden with lovely views over the valley, have
breakfast at the terrace and in the evening be dining under the illuminated
trees.
Furthermore you can enjoy the wood fire in the ‘cantou’ in comfortable chairs,
have a drink at the cosy bar, and watch the television (canalsat) or a DVD in
the salon, or read quietly a book.
Situated in the department Corrèze, one of the areas of France with few
habitants, you will find space and nature. It is a rural area with small farms
with the known Limousin cattle, small historical towns and sleepy villages. But
there are also the town Brive and Tulle where you’ll find all the shops and
lively amusement of a city.
